PRESENTERS Albert Castillo
Albert is the Director of Finance for Ophthalmology Associates of San Antonio, serves as the Assistant Administrator for San Antonio Eye Center and as the Administrator for South Texas Total Eye Care. In addition, Albert consults and manages various ophthalmology and other medical practices throughout the state of Texas working at different levels with over 20 general and multi-specialty ophthalmologists, one optometrist, eight practices, five optical shops, and an ASC.

Elise Levine
Elise has worked in an administrative capacity in the medical field since 1989 in both physician offices and in Medicare benefit development and implementation for a large California health insurer. Since 2006, she has been the Administrator & Director of Clinical Research for a comprehensive ophthalmology group located in a suburb of Los Angeles. Elise provides oversight of the practice including the management of 25 staff, an optical shop and a busy clinical research department. Elise received her Master of Arts in Gerontology degree from the University of Southern California in 2010.

Nancy Baker
Nancy has 25 years of experience in medical administration.  Before transitioning to ophthalmology in 2004, she worked for a variety of specialties including OB/Gyn, General Surgery and Internal Medicine, and specializes in revitalizing under-performing practices. She is currently the administrator for Elander Eye Medical Group in Santa Monica, California. She received her Bachelor of Arts from U.C. San Diego in 1985.

Joy Woodke, COE, OCS, BA
For the last twenty years Joy has been working for Oregon Eye Consultants, LLC, and is currently the administrator. Our practice has three ophthalmologists, Keyhan F. Aryah, MD who specializes in the anterior segment, along with Robert J Champer MD, PhD and John W Karth, MD, both retinal specialists. She have been a Certified Ophthalmic Executive (COE) since November, 2005, an Ophthalmic Coding Specialist (OCS) since 2010, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Healthcare Administration from Northwest Christian University (NCU) in Eugene, Oregon in August, 2008.
